About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a dynamic and adaptable Shift Manager to join our team supporting Greggs. Based out of the 67 High Street shop in Lockerbie, this is a floating role designed to provide supervisory cover across local stores in the area to support with staff holidays and sickness coverage.

In this position, you will take charge of shop operations whenever the Shop Manager is away. You will engage, motivate, and direct team members while ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all ordering channels—in-store, Click + Collect, delivery, and drive-thru.

Key Responsibilities

• Floating Operations: Provide mobile shift leadership across the Lockerbie store and neighboring local branches as needed.

• Team Leadership: Inspire and guide team members to deliver outstanding service and maintain high operational standards.

• Customer Service: Lead by example on the shop floor by serving customers in a fast, friendly, and welcoming manner.

• Food Preparation & Merchandising: Oversee sandwich preparation, manage oven operations, and keep food displays fully stocked and presentable.

• Shop Maintenance: Ensure shops remain clean, tidy, and compliant with operational guidelines.

Requirements & Mobility

• Previous team supervisory or shift management experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.

• Reliable individual with natural leadership skills and strong communication abilities.

• Transport: Access to a car/personal vehicle is highly ideal due to the floating nature of the role across local area stores.

• Flexibility to cover shifts on short notice for sickness or pre-planned holiday cover.
