ABOUT THE ROLE
As a General Assistant, you will carry out a variety of tasks spanning housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering support to ensure the care home runs smoothly. This flexible bank position offers a varied, hands-on day-to-day routine while allowing you to choose shifts that fit around your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Support multiple operational departments, including housekeeping, domestic cleaning, laundry, and dining/catering support.
Maintain clean, safe, tidy, and welcoming communal areas and resident rooms.
Assist in creating a warm, comfortable, and homely environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Interact warmly and empathetically with residents to build positive, professional relationships that enhance their daily lives.
