The Birches provides a safe and welcoming home for seven male and female residents managing mental health needs. Our dedicated team is passionate about improving the health, wellbeing, and independence of the people we support, helping them achieve positive outcomes and live healthy, happy lives.

As a Support Worker and Key Worker, you will guide residents through their highs and lows, helping them build independent, fulfilling lives. Because no two days are the same, emotional resilience and natural empathy are the keys to success here!

Key Responsibilities

Person-Centred Care: Deliver an exceptional standard of daily living support that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.
Empowerment & Independence: Act as a key worker to help individuals set personal goals, track their progress, and realize their full potential.
Community Integration: Encourage and assist residents to participate in hobbies, daily activities, and local community life.
Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear, precise records, care plans, charts, and daily progress notes.
Relationship Building: Develop trusted, positive relationships with residents, their families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment by adhering strictly to security, confidentiality, and regulatory policies.
