Compensation: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour (+ £2.00/hr for bank holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts)
Shifts: Various shifts between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM
Note: This role is for a brand-new store opening its doors in 2027! While the store is being built, you’ll receive hands-on training and experience in nearby Lidl stores so you're completely ready for launch day.

The Role
As a Customer Assistant at Lidl, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming, and never be bored. From restocking shelves and baking fresh goods to jumping on tills and maintaining the non-food middle aisles, you'll work closely with a supportive team to ensure every customer receives top-tier service. This brand-new store opening offers a wonderful entry-level opportunity with clear paths for progression—you could even train to become a Freshness, Non-Food, or Bakery Specialist!
What You’ll Do:
Customer Care: Act as a Lidl expert, helping our customers with their questions, queries, and requests with a friendly smile.
Store Operations: Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store and keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and organized.
Bakery & Merchandising: Proactively keep the bakery stocked with freshly baked goods and expertly merchandise the non-food middle aisles.
Teamwork: Pitch in with your retail colleagues to ensure smooth-running shifts across flexible hours.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Flexibility & Readiness: Flexibility to work various shifts between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM, and a positive approach to changing priorities.
