About the Role
Drive a positive Safety, Health, and Environmental culture across key operational sites! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital SHE Associate position on behalf of BAE Systems.
Operating on-site across Warton and Samlesbury, you will work closely with operational and business teams to manage risk, ensure compliance, support incident investigations, and help shape a safer working environment for advanced manufacturing and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Advisory: Provide expert Safety, Health, and Environmental advice and support across various operational and functional areas.
Incident Investigations: Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Risk Management: Support risk assessment activities and promote effective hazard identification and mitigation practices.
Assistance & Auditing: Assist with SHE assurance activities, audits, compliance requirements, and the maintenance of management systems.
Performance Reporting: Produce and maintain accurate SHE performance data, reports, and management information.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent qualification).
Professional Experience: Proven background providing Safety, Health, and Environmental support within a business, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety management principles.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, support, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
