About the Role

We are recruiting a Bank Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) on a flexible 0-hour contract to join the clinical team at Forest Hospital in Mansfield.

In this autonomous and impactful hospital setting, you will work within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team to deliver expert care for patients with complex clinical needs and challenging behaviors. Offering total schedule flexibility with day or night shifts available, you will supervise and deliver high-quality nursing care while ensuring patient dignity, dignity, and personal growth remain at the heart of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs or learning disabilities.

• Develop, evaluate, and implement comprehensive care plans and detailed clinical risk assessments.

• Provide clinical leadership, autonomy, and oversight to support staff within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Support patients through challenging behaviors with empathy, active listening, and evidence-based de-escalation strategies.

• Maintain compliance with CQC guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and safe medication management standards.

About You

To join us as a Bank Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD), you will bring:

• Active NMC Registration (Registered Mental Health Nurse - RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse - RNLD).

• Up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices and a solid understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks.

• Proven experience in producing tailored care plans, conducting risk assessments, and working within multi-disciplinary hospital/complex care environments.
