About the Role

As a permanent Laundry Assistant at Wakehurst Hall, you will play an essential part in ensuring our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings.

By making sure each resident has impeccably clean clothing and bedding, you will help everyone feel comfortable, cared for, and truly at home. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and contributing to the smooth, efficient running of the home while opening doors for future career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and distribute residents' personal laundry and home bedding efficiently.

• Maintain rigorous hygiene standards and infection control protocols in the laundry room.

• Handle all items with care, respect, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment across the care home.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team on a permanent part-time contract.
