Job Title: Staff Nurse - Radiology
Location: Cromwell Hospital, London, SW5 0TU
Salary: £37,080 to £46,890 per annum + Fantastic Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week; department open Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
We are partnering with the world-renowned Cromwell Hospital in London to find a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse for their brand-new, state-of-the-art diagnostic wing at Lexham Gardens. Opened in December 2025, this fully refreshed facility features three floors of ultrasound, X-ray, a fluoroscopy suite, DEXA, and a women's health unit, providing a dynamic, rapid-access, and flexible imaging service.
As a Radiology Staff Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a vital role in clinical care, patient safety, and supporting radiologists across a wide range of advanced imaging and interventional procedures.
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within ultrasound clinics and assist radiologists during procedures such as biopsies, FNAs, drain insertions, and PICC line insertions (across general, gynae, head & neck, breast, and MSK clinics).
Perform pre- and post-procedure patient observations, recognise and escalate clinical deterioration promptly, and ensure completion of WHO safety checklists.
Prepare rooms, manage sterile equipment and consumables, check emergency supplies, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, sonographers, and administrative teams while adhering strictly to local documentation, governance, and infection control standards.
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN number.
Previous experience within an outpatient or radiology department.
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach with strong teamwork and communication skills.
