ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Night Nurse (RGN) at Barchester Healthcare’s Lindum House Care Home, you will safeguard the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of residents during night shifts. You will have full clinical autonomy to lead care delivery and exercise your professional judgment to maintain high standards across the home.
Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Decision-Making: Rely on your professional judgement to manage complex clinical needs and respond to overnight clinical requirements.
Care Planning & Assessment: Develop, review, and maintain tailored, person-centred care plans and thorough risk assessments.
Safe Medication Management: Administer medications accurately in accordance with Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Holistic Resident Care: Foster a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment for residents with varied physical and mental care needs.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and detail-oriented nurse with a resident-first approach to night duty care.
Requirements:
Registration: Valid, active NMC registration (RGN).
Clinical Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices and clinical procedures.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory standards, including MCA/DoLS and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Skills: Excellent communication, care planning, and critical-thinking abilities.
