Role Overview

As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will be deployed into core technical functions—including Systems Engineering, Mission Systems, Flight Systems, Electromagnetics, and Test & Evaluation. You will contribute to critical national and international capabilities on world-leading programs such as the Typhoon, Future Combat Air System (FCAS), Autonomous Systems, and Mission Support Products.

Beyond technical engineering, you will gain hands-on exposure to project management fundamentals, including schedule, cost, stakeholder management, through-life support, and safety and environmental compliance.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Obtained, or predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in one of the following subjects:

  • Physics

  • Mathematics

  • Aerospace

  • Technology

  • Systems

  • Engineering

• Security & Vetting Requirements: Applicants must achieve, as a minimum, the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Due to national security and export control restrictions, nationality, place of birth, and previous residencies will be taken into account. (Note: Many roles require higher national security vetting, typically needing 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency).
