Housekeeping Assistant

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will help maintain exceptional cleanliness and laundry standards throughout the care home while ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect. Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning and laundry duties in accordance with established housekeeping procedures.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms and communal areas using appropriate cleaning methods and products.

• Respect residents' privacy, personal belongings, and individual needs while delivering an excellent housekeeping service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, ideally within a care, healthcare, or hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including COSHH, Fire Safety, and Moving and Handling procedures.

• A flexible, dependable, and compassionate approach with strong attention to detail.
