We are partnering with Harts House Care Home in London—a wonderful facility holding a "Good" CQC rating and a 9/10 score on carehome.co.uk—to find a detail-oriented and compassionate Housekeeping Supervisor. As a Housekeeping Supervisor through Supportive Bridge, you will ensure every corner of the home sparkles. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeepers and laundry assistants, inspiring them to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene while working closely with the maintenance and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, working closely with the maintenance and management teams to keep every room well-looked-after.
Lead by example through hands-on cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and maintaining all communal areas and resident bedrooms.
Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, overseeing required training, and ensuring domestic supplies and items are adequately stocked and replenished.
What New Team Members Need
Previous experience in a housekeeping or domestic role with a proven commitment to high standards and an organised environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently lead, motivate, prioritize, and delegate tasks within a team.
An approachable, caring nature and a genuine enjoyment of getting to know residents and working collaboratively with other departments.
