Operational Action Planning: Collaborate with General Managers and hiring teams to execute tailored action plans that enhance resident care and operational efficiency.
Preceptorship & Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor multidisciplinary care teams, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
Governance & Safeguarding: Oversee complex health needs, direct clinical risk assessments, and manage safeguarding investigations with complete rigor.
Business Management: Apply operational knowledge in HR processes, budget management, and sales and marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy and home performance.
We are seeking a compassionate, highly resilient, and flexible nurse leader who thrives in a mobile, multi-site capacity.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Registration: Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Qualifications: A teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification alongside documented continuous professional development (CPD).
Clinical Experience: Essential experience in a nursing home environment with a proven track record in safeguarding, clinical risk assessments, and managing diverse health conditions.
Management Competencies: Demonstrated experience in HR, financial/budget management, occupancy marketing, and guiding new nurses through preceptorship.
Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across London, Surrey, and Kent.
Competitive Compensation: £65,000 per annum base salary.
Car Allowance: £6,000 annual car allowance.
Incentives & Travel Support: Annual bonus structure, plus full accommodation and meal allowance when staying away from home.
Professional Support: Ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and leadership growth within a major healthcare organisation.
