About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant (Relief) on behalf of Willowcroft in Derby, a friendly and welcoming care home supporting older people and those living with dementia.
In this valued role, you will support the Cook in delivering nutritious, well-presented meals that meet residents' dietary needs while helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
What You Will Need
Essential Certification: A basic food hygiene certificate.
Experience: Previous experience in basic food preparation is desirable, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude matter most.
Teamwork & Organisation: The ability to follow instructions, prioritise tasks effectively, and work well within a busy team.
Flexibility & Proximity: A flexible approach to work and sensitivity to the needs of older people. Ideally living within 15 miles of Derby (DE21 7NN) for a manageable commute.
