About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) for Aran Court Care Home in Birmingham.
In this vital role, you will work as part of a committed team to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and laundry are maintained throughout the home, ensuring hotel-service standards and a comfortable living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning duties in strict accordance with worksheet instructions and standard operating procedures.
Understand the specific cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, keeping all areas well-presented and properly maintained.
Ensure all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect, always honoring their personal space and belongings.
Manage all laundering duties, understanding wash guide instructions and the proper care of a wide range of textiles.

What We Are Looking For:
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
Experience: Prior experience cleaning or handling laundry in a public or professional setting.
Compassion & Commitment: A genuine dedication to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry services that enhance residents' quality of life.
Flexibility: Adaptability to cover various responsibilities and shifts at short notice.
