About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Queens Manor Care Home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents and supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will play a vital role in maintaining a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment while respecting the dignity and preferences of every resident.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising, mentoring, and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants
Supporting the clinical team in specialised areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews
Ensuring person-centred, high-quality care is delivered consistently across every shift
About You
To join us as a Senior Care Assistant, you will need:
An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
A warm-hearted, compassionate approach and a commitment to individualised care
Strong leadership and communication skills
