Supportive Bridge Staffing is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated Early Years HLTA / Nursery Lead Practitioner to play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of Pebbles Nursery at Lift Barton Hill.
Supported by the qualified Nursery Teacher and EYFS Lead, you will help lead an outstanding early years team in delivering exceptional care and education for 2- and 3-year-olds. In this purpose-built nursery environment, you will plan and deliver engaging early learning activities, guide and coach teaching assistants, design targeted interventions, and ensure the highest standards of safety, inclusion, and child development are maintained.
Early Learning & Practice: Plan and deliver engaging, accessible early years learning activities tailored to toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Team Guidance & Coaching: Guide and support classroom Teaching Assistants, fostering their professional growth through feedback, modeling, and collaborative leadership.
Targeted Interventions: Design and implement individual support and intervention strategies for children requiring extra assistance.
Partnership & Collaboration: Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, teachers, and pastoral staff to track child progress and holistic wellbeing.
Learning Environment Management: Help organize stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning spaces and resources that cater to all young learners.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification OR Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status (or equivalent).
Current Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one immediately upon appointment).
Experience & Skills:
Substantial experience working in an Early Years / Nursery setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, guide, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Excellent communication, empathy, and patience with young children and families.
