Are you an experienced care professional looking for a rewarding night leadership role where you can mentor teams, elevate standards of living, and make a profound difference in residents' lives? As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the night care team to deliver exceptional personal care, fostering a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident during the night shift, identifying changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records accordingly.
Participating in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents safely with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their professional development.
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are actioned and concerns or complaints are promptly escalated.

Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A positive, nurturing attitude toward both supporting residents and mentoring staff.
Responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
