About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to find an experienced and compassionate Senior Carer for Melbourn Springs Care Home.
In this vital leadership role, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to enable the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff—including providing training, conducting supervisions, and delegating duties on shift. Additionally, you will support with administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families, all while fostering a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You
To join us as a Residential Senior Carer, you will bring:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Previous experience working within a residential care setting.
Skills & Attributes: Proven team leadership skills, the ability to make confident decisions supporting resident wellbeing, and a warm-hearted, compassionate disposition. (With ongoing career progression pathways into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads, or nursing, there is incredible scope to grow with us!)
