The Opportunity

At Supportive Bridge Staffing, we specialize in connecting organized, career-driven leaders with exceptional retail environments. We are currently recruiting an Experienced Retail Shift Manager to lead operations at a premier, fast-moving supermarket store on Slateford Road in Edinburgh.

As a Retail Shift Manager, you will be a vital driver behind a smooth-running, high-performing shop floor. Thriving in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, you’ll take charge of daily operations—motivating your team, protecting stock integrity, and ensuring high standards are met during every shift. What You’ll Earn & Receive

• Hourly Rate: £15.45 - £15.95 per hour

• Premium Pay: An additional £2.00/hr for Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts (when applicable)

• Holiday: 30–35 days of annual leave (pro rata)

What You’ll Do

• Team Leadership: Motivate, support, and delegate tasks effectively, creating an encouraging environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you.

• Shift Management: Handle freshness checks, cash processes, inventory tracking, and stock management to ensure every shift runs like clockwork.

• Operational Control: Confidently manage store operations and lead colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.

• Problem Solving: Swiftly tackle day-to-day challenges on your feet to keep store operations moving efficiently.

• Customer Experience: Foster a welcoming environment, ensuring every customer receives premium service during their visit.
