About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable, caring Housekeeper on a full-time daytime basis (37.5 hours per week) on behalf of The Meadow in Muswell Hill, a friendly care home supporting older people and those living with dementia.
Your work will play an essential part in creating a clean, safe, and warm environment where residents feel valued, comfortable, and truly at home. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and laundry care across designated areas while always respecting individual dignity and personal space.
What You Will Need
Essential Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, alongside formal training in health and safety.
A Caring & Respectful Approach: Genuine sensitivity to the needs of older people and a strong commitment to personal dignity.
Organisation & Independence: The ability to follow cleaning routines, manage laundry tasks, and work well independently or as part of a warm, inclusive team.
Flexibility & Proximity: A flexible approach to work, including covering on-call or emergency situations when needed. Ideally living within 15 miles of London (N10 1PL) for a manageable commute.
