We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Health Records Logistic Operative to join the Health Records Logistics team at SWFT Clinical Services Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust). In this active, multi-faceted role, you will support our essential services spanning transport driving, health records administration, and secure storage management.

Transport & Driving: Take responsibility for Trust vehicles (including electric cars) to safely deliver and collect items, pharmacy drugs, patient prescriptions, orthotics boxes, scanning bureau materials, and community boxes across various hospital sites and patient homes. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, check tyre pressure and charge/fuel levels, and adhere strictly to workplace transport policies.
Storage Operations: Collect, file, and track items for storage, monitor destruction dates, securely dispose of confidential waste, and ensure storage facilities remain clean, tidy, secure, and fully alarmed.
Health Records Administration: Handle patient health records (PHCR) for clinics and admissions, process sensitive information (such as adoptions and deceased records), manage database updates on systems like Lorenzo, and assist with general library upkeep and administrative tasks.
Driving Licence: Must hold a Full UK clean driving licence.
Experience & Skills: Good general education with strong literacy, numeric, and IT/computer skills (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). Prior driving, storage, health records, or clerical experience is essential.
Physical Requirements: The role involves frequent manual handling, physical activity, lifting heavy boxes, and moving cages.
Personal Qualities: Articulate communication, strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while using your own initiative.
