As a Hospitality Assistant on the day team, you will ensure our dining room offers a professional yet relaxed restaurant experience. About the Role

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be the friendly face of our food and beverage service, ensuring that residents and visitors enjoy an efficient, high-quality, and pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent Food Service: Deliver freshly prepared meals from the kitchen to the dining areas, serving residents in a pleasant, polite, and friendly manner.

• Warm Hospitality: Create a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, making mealtimes an enjoyable, social occasion for everyone.

• Hydration & Refreshments: Ensure fresh water, hot drinks, and light refreshments are attractively presented and available throughout the day.

• Dining Standards: Set up tables elegantly, keep work areas pristine, and prepare the food service areas for the next sitting to maintain exceptional standards of hygiene.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We are looking for an individual with a caring nature and great people skills who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team.

• Attributes & Skills:

  • A warm, compassionate nature with excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong communication skills to interact beautifully with elderly residents and visitors.

  • A proactive team player who is flexible and adaptable to residents' needs.

• Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a busy restaurant, hospitality, or catering environment is highly desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

• Compliance:

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (fully funded by the employer).
