Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted health and advisory partners for a dedicated Functional Assessor.
Based out of Frimley with flexible hybrid working options, you will carry out meaningful health assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to understand how a person’s medical condition affects their daily life. This unique role gives Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists, Paramedics, Occupational Therapists, and Pharmacists the chance to apply clinical expertise in a supportive, purpose-led environment that improves outcomes for customers and communities.
Customer Consultations: Engage with customers via telephone, face-to-face, or online methods with care, empathy, and respect.
Functional Assessments: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and gather accurate, detailed information regarding individuals' medical conditions.
Clinical Collaboration: Consult with treating healthcare professionals where appropriate to build a complete clinical picture.
Report Production: Produce fair, high-quality, and concise reports on behalf of the DWP.
Professional Standards: Utilise exceptional observation, listening, and note-taking skills to ensure clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Clinical Qualification & Experience: At least 1 year of post-registration experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist.
Regulatory Registration: Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent) with an active PIN and no restrictions.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to write concise, accurate clinical reports.
Digital Literacy: Good IT skills and the ability to manage workloads efficiently under time constraints.
Vetting Requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment security screening, including an Enhanced DBS check.
Attractive Financial Packages:
Starting salary between £40,000 and £42,000 with structured uplifts in the first year.
