Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is currently seeking an experienced, night-oriented Night Care Leader to join the team at The Cedars in Purton, Swindon. Role Overview

• Position: Night Care Leader

• Location: The Cedars, High Street, Purton, Swindon, SN5 4AF

• Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour (Higher weekend pay rates available)

• Contract Type: Permanent, 36.75 hours per week

• Shift Pattern: 7:45 PM to 8:00 AM (Night shifts)

• Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

About The Cedars

Situated off the High Street in the picturesque village of Purton, The Cedars provides devoted and personalised respite and residential care for up to 49 residents. The home is bright and charming, with each individual bed-sitting room offering views of the surrounding countryside or the home's much-loved garden.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading a small team of night carers to maintain a wakeful watch over the security, safety, and comfort of residents and the home.

• Ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and accurate records are maintained.

• Managing your time and your team's duties effectively to support resident wellbeing throughout the night.

• Bringing professionalism, warmth, and compassion to every shift, making lasting memories and providing reassurance.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).

• Experience: Previous experience leading a care team, with a strong desire to progress into a role with greater responsibility.

• Key Traits: A positive role model with excellent communication skills, a natural ability to motivate others, and confidence in problem-solving.
