The Role
Are you an inspirational leader with a passion for person-centred care and operational management? Acer Court Care Home is seeking a committed Care Home Deputy Manager to support the General Manager in operating a compliant, effective, and stimulating environment for residents and visitors while meeting professional standards and commercial targets.
In this key leadership role, you will help guide the care team, champion resident wellbeing, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
Ensuring strict adherence to medication policies and procedures, including supporting the review and administration of medication.
Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident and ensuring care plans are updated to reflect any changing needs.
Completing regular monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other compliance documentation as required.
Attending weekly clinical meetings and actively monitoring clinical risk areas within the home.

Requirements:
A minimum of two years of experience working in a similar care environment in a management position.
Excellent leadership, management, and IT competency skills.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of management responsibilities.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
