About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to find a talented and passionate Bank Chef for Kenwyn Care Home.
If you are a qualified chef looking to work with fresh, seasonal food while enjoying a better work-life balance (without the grueling split shifts and long weeks of standard restaurants), this is the ideal role for you. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus tailored directly to our residents, delivering hotel- and restaurant-standard dining with a personal touch.
About You
We are looking for a warm, motivated, and quality-driven culinary professional. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent catering qualifications.
Experience: Proven background working with fresh, seasonal food, along with experience helping to lead and inspire a kitchen team.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of nutrition, dietary requirements, and HACCP guidelines.
Attributes: A personable approach, a genuine interest in resident wellbeing, and the ability to help manage the kitchen effectively in the Head Chef's absence.
