At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting dedicated Bank General Assistants on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Whitewater Place Care Home in Odiham.
In this versatile support position, you will play an essential part in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. You will assist across multiple home operational areas—including housekeeping, domestic cleaning, laundry management, and kitchen/dining support—while building warm, positive relationships with the residents you serve.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Department Support: Carry out diverse tasks across housekeeping, cleaning routines, laundry services, and catering assistance based on daily home requirements.
Homely Environment: Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in resident bedrooms, communal lounges, and dining areas.
Resident Interaction: Engage warmly, respectfully, and compassionately with residents during your daily duties.
Flexible Shift Cover: Step in on a bank basis to provide essential support during peak times, annual leave, or staff cover needs.
About You
Attributes: Reliable, caring, empathetic, and practical with a proactive "can-do" approach.
Background: Open to individuals from all walks of life—no previous healthcare experience or formal qualifications are necessary!
Skills: Happy to turn your hand to different practical tasks and eager to support older adults in a care setting.
