About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shift Manager to support Greggs at their location on Cranbrook Road in Ilford.
In this leadership role, you will take responsibility for running the shop in the Manager’s absence. You will engage, motivate, and guide the team while ensuring operational excellence across all customer channels—including in-store, delivery, Click + Collect, and drive-thru.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and direct team members to maintain high operational standards and deliver exceptional service.
Customer Service: Lead by example by providing fast, friendly service across all ordering channels.
Food Preparation & Merchandising: Oversee sandwich preparation, oven management, and maintain fully stocked, attractive product displays.
Shop Operations: Ensure the shop remains clean, presentable, and compliant with standard procedures at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Previous team supervisory or shift leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Natural leadership abilities with a reliable, hands-on work ethic.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to promoting an inclusive workplace culture.
Flexibility to work required shift patterns (to be finalized during the interview).
