Role Description

As a Theatre Practitioner - Scrub, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based perioperative care, ensuring surgical environments and equipment meet the highest standards for patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert scrub assistance within a multidisciplinary team across diverse surgical specialties.

• Supervise, guide, and support junior team members to maintain high-quality clinical practices.

• Utilize advanced technology and clinical equipment to support efficient surgical procedures and evidence-based patient care.

Requirements

• Active registration with the NMC or HCPC as a qualified Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).

• Proven post-registration experience in a scrub practitioner role within a busy theatre setting.

• Excellent communication, detail-orientation, and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
