Shift Pattern: Nights (09:00 - 06:45, any 5 out of 7 days, including weekend working)

About the Role

As a Transport Team Manager representing Bridge Staffing Agency at Bidfood in Battersea, you will play a crucial leadership role on our night shift. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day transport operations, ensuring legal compliance, and—most importantly—supporting and motivating our people to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the transport team to reach their full potential and achieve shared goals.

• Manage recruitment, absence, performance, conduct, safety, and service standards.

• Oversee commercial vehicles, equipment compliance (including PPE, vehicle checks, CV servicing, MOTs, VORs, temperature checks, and near misses).

• Allocate work efficiently while considering individual and team capability, as well as legal driving hours.

• Lead with a strong commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence.

What You Need to Apply

• Proven experience as an exceptional people manager with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Strong communication skills and a talent for building positive relationships at all levels.

• Solid knowledge of transport operations, particularly transport legislation.

• A proactive, results-driven attitude focused on meeting and exceeding KPIs.
