Pharmacy Assistant - Bank
Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, Kensington, London, SW5 0TU (5-minute walk from Earls Court underground or 7-minute walk from Gloucester Road underground)
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour (incorporating payment of annual leave)
Contract Type: Bank Shifts (Various shift patterns available; pharmacy operating hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

We are partnering with the prestigious Cromwell Hospital (part of Bupa)—a major international private hospital in West London—to find a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant for their bank team. In this supportive role, you will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the dispensary, assisting with dispensing, stock management, and patient accounts while working under the guidance of senior pharmacy professionals.
Assisting in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service, supporting dispensary operations, dispensing, patient counselling, and stock management.
Replenishing stocks, carrying out regular stock takes, monitoring expiry dates, and maintaining strict stock rotation.
Managing pharmacy archiving, handling off-site collections, and processing Compucare charges to ensure account accuracy.
Answering telephone enquiries, maintaining clean and tidy workspaces, and adhering strictly to legal and regulatory standards (CQC, GPhC, MHRA, and Home Office SOPs).
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) OR a Pharmacy Student actively working towards an MPharm degree.
Previous experience working within a pharmacy environment.
Good general education with GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent experience).
