Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit on behalf of our esteemed client, a premier UK specialist social care provider with over 30 years of experience. We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Team Leader to join their supported living community services in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent.

This vital service supports adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders as they transition from mental health hospitals back into a community setting. In this role, you will be essential in establishing a professional, safe, and comfortable foundation, ensuring the team delivers the highest quality of person-centred care.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will balance direct individual care with staff leadership, acting as a key pillar for your team within a multi-disciplinary setting. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Support Workers by demonstrating a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Delivering tailored, person-centred care that empowers individuals and builds their independence and life skills.
Supporting tenants through critical transitional care pathways to successfully achieve their planned outcomes.
Handling difficult or crisis situations with a high level of composure and professionalism.
Maintaining accurate documentation, care plans, and service logs.
Working a flexible rota designed to meet the needs of the service, including unsociable hours.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly organized professional with excellent communication skills and the confidence to guide others toward excellence.

Requirements:

Proven experience working within a care setting.
Solid experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex mental health needs.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work unsociable hours on a flexible, rota-based system.
An Enhanced DBS check is required (fully paid for by the client).
A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
