Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled permanent Alcohol & Non-Opiate Recovery Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Liverpool.
In this rewarding role, you will engage and assess service users affected by alcohol and non-opiate substance use, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions tailored to their unique needs. From initial contact through their recovery journey, you will provide comprehensive support, facilitate harm-reduction strategies, and help individuals build resilience and achieve meaningful social reintegration.
Caseload & Care Planning: Support service users from point of entry throughout their treatment journey, providing screening, assessment, recovery planning, and advocacy.
Tailored Interventions: Implement targeted interventions aimed at reducing substance-related harm through 1-to-1 engagement and group sessions.
Detox & Care Pathways: Ensure service users receive comprehensive, recovery-focused care plans, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
Community & Partnership: Collaborate with external agencies and community networks, promoting mutual aid, peer support, and family involvement.
Experience & Knowledge: Practical knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for individuals affected by substance use.
Mental Health Awareness: Strong working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high IT proficiency, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to time management.
Requirements: Supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
