About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK education provider for a School Facilities Manager to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham, UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional, caretaker or maintenance operative looking for a rewarding part-time role. You will play a key role in ensuring the school remains safe, secure and well-maintained while supporting staff and pupils in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Open, secure and monitor the school premises.
Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
Prepare classrooms and school facilities for daily activities.
Supervise contractors working on site.
Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented environment.
Conduct regular health and safety checks.
Respond to maintenance issues and occasional emergency call-outs.
Ensure school equipment and facilities remain in good working order.

Requirements

Previous experience in facilities management, caretaking or maintenance.
Good practical DIY and repair skills.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Friendly, reliable and professional approach.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
