About Yew Tree Lodge

Located in Reading, Berkshire, Yew Tree Lodge is a specialized residential home offering 24-hour support and rehabilitation for 16 male and female adults living with severe and enduring mental health needs. Our service provides vital respite care, acts as a step-down facility from hospital admissions, and delivers the specialist care required to help residents avoid hospital re-admission.

Our team is deeply dedicated to empowering individuals to regain control of their lives, encouraging independence, and fostering self-reliance every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will join a compassionate and tightly-knit team working together to ensure the smooth, safe running of the service and to support the overall wellbeing of our residents.

Please note: While this specific role focuses on maintaining the home's operational environment and structure rather than providing direct personal care, your presence is vital to creating a therapeutic, safe, and stable space.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth-running service.
Keeping communal and private spaces organised, clean, and welcoming.
Contributing to a safe, comfortable environment that promotes rehabilitation and mental wellbeing.
Supporting the wider team to create a positive daily experience for residents and staff alike.
