About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) and Serco Leisure for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Lifeguard.
Based at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre, you will be a vital part of the team, ensuring everyone can use the pool safely while enjoying a welcoming and inclusive environment. Without lifeguards, pool activities cannot run! You will be joining a close-knit, supportive team dedicated to encouraging active, healthy lifestyles across the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Water Safety & Supervision: Closely supervise pool activities, maintain constant vigilance, and respond rapidly and professionally to emergency situations when required.
Customer Care: Engage warmly with customers of all ages and backgrounds, providing a helpful and friendly presence.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the pool area throughout the day.
Equipment Handling: Ensure the safe handling, setup, and storage of pool equipment.
What You’ll Need
Lifeguard Qualification: It is essential that you hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS).
Swimming Proficiency: Strong and confident swimming skills.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, whether gained in a leisure setting or another customer-facing environment.
Safety Mindset: A naturally safety-conscious, vigilant attitude with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
