Registered Nurse - Nights

Avery Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse to work nights at Clare Court Care Home in Winson Green, Birmingham. As the nurse on duty you will be the person in charge, standing in for the Manager when needed and making sure residents receive high standards of care.

What you would do:

• Carry out nursing tasks such as giving medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and managing long-term conditions
• Keep families and GPs informed about any worrying changes in a resident's condition
• Deploy and supervise the care team so all tasks are completed during the shift
• Assess residents accurately and plan their care

What they ask for:

• A first level qualification and current NMC registration
• At least two years' experience with up-to-date care knowledge, backed by relevant post-registration study
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to teach and demonstrate care tasks
• Sound knowledge of care planning

This is a permanent night role paying £21.80 per hour. Avery covers the cost of the DBS check, and you will need proof that you are eligible to work in the UK. The advert may be withdrawn early depending on applications.
