About the Role

As an Assistant Chef, you will use your passion for fresh ingredients and cooking to create varied, nutritional menus tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Working closely with the team, you'll help deliver an exceptional dining experience every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
Create varied, nutritional menus using fresh ingredients, keeping resident dietary needs and preferences front and centre.
Train and manage the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
Adhere strictly to COSHH, HACCP guidelines, company procedures, budgets, and stock management.
Propose innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience and help residents feel at home.
Cater for special events, seasonal activities, summer fetes, and celebrations as required.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen.
Relevant food hygiene certificates.
An innovative, open-minded approach to cooking combined with a commitment to high standards.
Great communication skills and a warm personality, enjoying those little moments sharing a love of food with residents.
