Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for a dedicated Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) to join their Nuffy Bear Day Nursery team at Brondesbury Fitness & Wellbeing Club in Brondesbury, London, UK.

In this role, you will work within a small, collaborative nursery team providing high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, you will help create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment to give children the best possible start in life.

Role Description

As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you will support full-day care, sessional care, and pre-school activities while building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers. Working 40 hours per week, you will focus on promoting child health and developmental milestones while maintaining effective team communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality early years care, learning, and sessional activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years following EYFS standards.

  • Maintain positive, open communication with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding children's development and wellbeing.

  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment while adhering to all nursery policies and safeguarding protocols.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Childcare Studies (or equivalent Early Years qualification) with prior childcare experience preferred.

  • Active Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable (or willingness to obtain).

  • Excellent communication skills, an empathetic approach, and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
