Salary: £26,296.03 - £27,165.10 Per Annum (CGL points 20 to 21)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated Stop Smoking Specialist Advisor to join the Be Smoke Free team in Manchester on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this vital full-time role, you will help raise awareness of the negative effects of smoking and promote health and wellbeing across workplaces and organizations throughout the city. Delivering face-to-face, remote, individual, and group interventions, you will provide a high-quality stop smoking and vaping service, supporting individuals to quit tobacco and vaping, reduce harm, and live healthier lives.
Specialist Interventions: Deliver brief advice, harm reduction, and structured cessation programmes tailored to individuals and specific target groups looking to quit tobacco and vaping.
Outreach & Promotion: Promote the benefits of stop smoking services across agreed venues, events, and workplaces, engaging with professionals and the wider community.
Treatment Protocols: Work as part of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), Varenicline, and E-cigarette protocols to support effective treatment plans.
Support & Governance: Maintain accurate electronic records, keep up to date with smoking cessation policy developments, and support the mentoring of apprentices, volunteers, and students.
Experience: Proven background working within a health and/or social care environment, with experience carrying out assessments and delivering targeted interventions.
Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of the harmful effects of smoking, national smoking policies, and available treatments for tobacco and vaping addiction.
Core Skills: Strong risk assessment capabilities, accurate record-keeping habits, and IT proficiency (Microsoft packages and electronic recording systems).
Requirements: Proactive, collaborative team player. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
