Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated permanent Recovery Coordinator to join their brand-new service in Birmingham.
In this rewarding and fast-paced role, you will be a central part of a new team supporting individuals through their treatment and recovery journeys. No two days are the same as you assess, engage, and empower service users, helping them access the right support at the right time, reduce substance-related harm, and build meaningful, purposeful lives.
Caseload & Care Planning: Support service users from initial entry through their recovery journey, providing screening, risk assessment, and structured recovery planning.
Harm Reduction & Group Work: Deliver targeted interventions, facilitate engaging group sessions, and work to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm for individuals and the community.
Advocacy & Partnerships: Provide advocacy to ensure seamless access to partnership services, promoting carer, service user, and community involvement.
Social Reintegration: Support service users in social reintegration, fostering resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues, mental health interventions, and experience working within a similar support field.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good IT proficiency, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to time management.
Approach: Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of successfully managing change with a service-user-centered focus.
Requirements: Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service (capped at 30 days).
