About the Role

Are you an experienced, hands-on maintenance professional looking for a leadership role where your practical skills help create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for residents?

Through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are partnering with Barchester Healthcare to find a dedicated Head of Maintenance for North Park Care Centre. In this varied role, you will take charge of all property and grounds upkeep—from fixing repairs to managing gardens—while ensuring all work is carried out with sensitivity to our residents. You will also support the General Manager with annual budget planning, liaise with outside contractors, and lead by example.

What You Will Need

• Experience & Skills: Hands-on experience in general property maintenance with at least one core trade skill. A full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are essential.

• Key Responsibilities: Ability to work independently as well as lead a team and coordinate with contractors.

• Personal Qualities: A reliable, flexible, and caring nature, prioritizing resident wellbeing and comfort in everything you do.
