About the Role
As a permanent Kitchen Assistant at Bere Grove, you will help provide first-class food and hospitality, ensuring our residents enjoy a healthy, nutritious diet that supports their overall wellbeing.
Your impact reaches beyond the kitchen. You will assist with meal preparation and help create a wonderful dining experience while getting to know residents personally, enhancing their daily hospitality experience and developing your own skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, cooking support, and kitchen duties.
Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
Support the catering team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Interact warmly with residents, building positive relationships and noting their preferences.
Contribute to a smooth, efficient, and friendly kitchen operation.

Attitude: Reliable, considerate, and caring with strong attention to detail.
Experience: Formal qualifications are not essential; any similar experience in a commercial or care kitchen setting is useful.
