At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the care team at Burwood Grange Care Home in Walton-on-Thames.

In this rewarding full-time role, you will assist residents with their day-to-day living routines, ensuring they receive dignified personal care, support during mealtimes, and warm companionship. Every shift brings variety and purpose—whether you are following individualized care plans, aiding with daily tasks, or spending dedicated one-on-one time sharing conversations and creating positive moments with residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Person-Centered Care: Support residents with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities according to individual care plans.

• Nutrition & Hydration: Assist residents during mealtimes with food and beverage intake, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration.

• Companionship & Wellbeing: Spend quality one-on-one time with residents, fostering a warm, welcoming, and emotionally reassuring atmosphere.

• Care Record-Keeping: Maintain clear, accurate care notes and participate in shift handovers to ensure continuous, high-quality care.

About You

• Experience: Prior experience caring for older adults (in a professional setting or personal capacity).

• Communication & Mindset: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong empathy, and a practical "can-do" approach.
