Head Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the domestic and laundry teams to maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.

• Oversee departmental staff rotas and manage housekeeping budgets efficiently.

• Ensure resident clothing and linens are laundered to the highest standards while attending resident and relative meetings to address feedback.

Requirements

• Proven housekeeping supervisory or management experience, ideally within a care home, hospitality, or healthcare environment.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and budget management skills with an ability to create balanced staff rotas.

• A caring, resident-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
