This permanent entry-level role offers alternate weekend shifts, social-friendly working hours, and full training provided through Care UK's internal Catering Academy, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced kitchen staff and those new to catering.
In this vital kitchen support role, you will assist the Head Chef and Second Chef in maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food preparation, and stock management. You will help prepare ingredients, ensure utensils and equipment are spotless, and follow proper hygiene guidelines to contribute to a smooth dining service for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare fresh produce for mealtimes, including washing vegetables and making sandwiches.
Maintain clean, hygienic kitchen areas and sanitize all cooking utensils, pots, and food preparation equipment.
Store dry and perishable produce properly and safely handle and store cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety standards.
Requirements

Good time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow health and safety procedures.
No prior catering experience required; willingness to learn and participate in the Catering Academy's induction program.
