About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Host/Hostess to join the award-winning team at Edenbridge Manor Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this hospitality-focused role, you will play a central part in elevating our residents' daily dining experiences by preparing serving trolleys, maintaining satellite kitchens, laying tables, taking orders, and serving meals with care, dignity, and attentiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare serving trolleys, clean satellite kitchens, and ensure dining tables are impeccably set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Support residents with choosing their daily meal options at the time of dining and display menus that accurately reflect daily choices.
Assist with dining services, providing support with meals as directed—including assisting residents who choose to adopt cutlery-free dining while retaining their dignity.
Candidate Requirements
Certifications: Must hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
Experience: Previous experience working in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel, is essential.
