Pay Rate: £19.77 to £24.37 per hour (includes £19.77/hr base rate, plus £1.60/hr unsocial shift allowance between 7 PM – 3 AM, and £3.00/hr weekend shift allowance)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Minimum 40 hours per week, 5 shifts per week, working 2 in 3 weekends)

About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit dedicated and professional LGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers for their distribution centre in Biggleswade.

In this vital logistics role, you will safely transport products from the distribution centre to Co-op stores across the region, helping to offload stock upon arrival and ensuring our communities stay stocked with the products they love. Different start times are available (with a 1-hour flexibility required each side of your start time), offering a great work-life balance alongside competitive compensation.

• Key Responsibilities: Delivering stock from the distribution centre to regional stores safely, professionally, and cost-effectively; driving in compliance with road rules and Co-op procedures; positively representing Co-op on the road; and providing an efficient delivery service, including offloading stock into stores.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you should bring:

• A valid C&E category (Class 1) LGV driver’s licence.

• Previous commercial driving experience (multi-drop delivery experience is highly advantageous).

• Strong service skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to work well with customers and colleagues.

• Great organisation, time management, and a commitment to road safety.

• The ability to reliably commute to the Biggleswade distribution centre.
