Role Overview

• Position: Night Carer / Night Care Assistant

• Location: Monkscroft Care Centre, Shelley Road, Cheltenham, GL51 7DP

• Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour (Higher weekend pay rates available)

• Contract Type: Permanent, 36 hours per week (Night shifts available)

• Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

Located in the heart of Cheltenham, Monkscroft Care Centre offers outstanding, person-centred, and friendly dementia and nursing care for up to 80 residents in a charming and comfortable setting.

What You Will Be Doing

• Supporting residents with night-time routines and personal care (washing, bathing, and bathroom support) to ensure their comfort, safety, and peace of mind.

• Bringing kindness, exceptional care, and dignity to help residents feel secure through the night.

• Becoming part of an extended family where you'll build positive relationships and provide vital nighttime support.

What We Are Looking For

• No prior experience necessary: We welcome both experienced night carers and newcomers who bring diverse life experiences and a passion for care.

• Great communication skills: Able to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.

• A compassionate approach: Dedicated to providing person-centered, dignified care every shift.
